How to rename files in Vista?

Hello everyone, I have multiple files that I need renamed. I used super to convert these mp3 files to wav. However, Super keep the old extension in the name. For example, there is a file named 1. When it was converted to wav, it names it 1.mp3. How do I take the .mp3 part out of multiple files all at once?
