Which is the best program or software to change a vob file into a avi/mpeg/wav?

Ok, I know this question has been asked many times before however I had to ask it myself. Can someone suggest which program or software would work the best. The only difference is that I need someone who actually used it and did it work for you? Whatever it's free or purchased I need to know which works.
