If you ever had moderate to severe acne how did you get rid of it?

i know a lot of people avoid this option, but go see a dermatologist. I did a couple weeks ago and my acne looks 10000000000 times better!! Talk to a friend or a parent about it, see if they've ever gone, and they'd probably more than welcome to go with you to check it out! :)
