Can you ever love someone else as much as your first true love?

I don't think so. Looking back at my first girlfriend, things seemed more ideal and emotions were much stronger. After several successive relationship I became more mistrusting and less willing to commit myself or risk being injured. When you are young and in love for the first time you believe it can last a lifetime, then you learn the truth.
