I keep dreaming about a "long ago" ex ?

It is just a simple dream and I hope you don't tell your husband about it. There is no need to cause unneeded conflict in your happy relationship and family life. I am happily married and had ual dreams about an ex I was once engaged to be married. We were together 5 years. I never told my husband because I am happy with the man I am with and dreams do not all need to be shared with loved ones. that is why we share them here so we can get them off our chests. don't feel guilty because it is not a bad reflection of your husband, just your subconscious bringing out the mental photo album. Don't worry!
